One brand, two lanes, one shared table — moving at the shop's pace of growth, neither ahead of it nor behind it.

Introduction · What this document is for

EverWell is a brand of herbal tea and wholesome meals for the whole family — grandparents, parents and children at one table, giving forward one good thing together — based in Incheon, South Korea. Phase 1 lasts 18 months: it begins with a drinks set (half-sweet herbal milk tea and wellness herbal tea), opens the first small drinks shop near Inha University at the end of M3, adds seasonal wholesome meals from M6, then prepares the full-set shop for Phase 2.

This document makes three things clear:

  1. Who we speak to, and in what order — Korean families are the anchor of every decision; healthy eaters around Inha are the growth engine and the entry door to shop 1; people of faith and good practice are the keepers of our standards; Vietnamese in Korea are the source of our team. This order does not flip.
  2. Which two lanes we speak through — the EverWell brand channel and the founder's personal Vietnamese-language channel; the two lanes never mix. Alongside the two lanes runs a Partner Path through temples and churches — not a third lane.
  3. What rhythm we speak in — four steps, each with one focus, one set of metrics, and one condition for moving to the next.

Budget figures and locked milestones sit in the Phase 1 Business Plan v2.2.2 (Workstream 1: 19.0 M₩ for all of Phase 1); this document only sets direction and working rhythm. Promises, wording and voice follow Brand Voice v2.2.2.

1 · Root principles

Principle What it means
Product leads, communication walks alongside The communication team sits with the R&D team from day one; the concept is born from a real cup of tea and a real bowl of rice, not from a desk
Korean families are the anchor Every post, every dish name, every offer must read well to a 30–45-year-old son or daughter looking after their parents — including posts written for young people
The One Shared Table rule Write for Group 1 and Group 2, but never let Group 4 feel out of place: ingredients listed in full so each person can choose; values spoken through shared action — giving forward, nature, family — never through the name of a religion
The Four Lights speak through action On Lane 1 only Connection and Regeneration are put into words; Wisdom and Compassion show through the cup given forward, growers paid fairly, a quiet seat. On Lane 2 all four are told through true stories
Each step is measured with its own ruler The sales step is measured by revenue and returning customers; the brand step by customers who can retell the story; the community step by people who seek us out and cups given forward
Two lanes, two voices The brand speaks in the Brand Voice, with no personal face; the founder speaks in the "older sister who went before" voice on her own channel — roles never swap
Speak the truth, within the promise ladder Promise only what sits on the Brand Voice promise ladder: half-sweet, herbs with a name and a region, ingredients listed in full, a cup given forward with a public board, points that become trees with a report. Never promise to cure illness, lose weight, detox, "vegan", "peace of mind"

2 · Who we speak to — four groups and the order of approach

Percentages are estimates for direction; recheck them against real customer numbers three months after shop 1 opens (read at the M7 meeting).

Role Group Who they are What they need What EverWell offers How they arrive
Anchor 1 · Korean families who care about living well (~55%) Sons and daughters aged 30–45 living near their parents; small children who keep asking for milk tea; label readers A cup that is tasty yet kind · caring for parents without leaning on medicine · gifts with meaning Half-sweet milk tea · wellness tea for mom and dad · two-cup set for one table · weekly/monthly gift packs with a blank card Lane 1
Growth engine · entry door to shop 1 2 · Healthy, vegetable-leaning eaters (~25%) Students and workers aged 20–32 around Inha; eat lunch out every day; care about waste Lots of vegetables yet filling, tasty, convenient · a touch of culture · a small contribution to nature Herbal milk tea — the smart choice · seasonal bowls (three regions of Vietnam + Taiwan–China) with egg/dairy/garlic clearly marked · pre-ordered lunch combo · 5-meal weekly pack · green packaging · EN/KO/VI menu Lane 1
Keepers of standards · bridge 4 · People of faith and good practice (~12%) Buddhists, Christians, or people of no religion who live by wisdom · compassion · connection · regeneration A place to do good, not a place that talks about good · quietness A cup given forward with a public board · monthly Quiet Hour (full-set shop) · Green Volunteer Day · Four Lights card — points become cups given forward and trees, not discounts for oneself Koreans: via partners (temples, churches) · Vietnamese: Lane 2
Source of team · community partners 3 · Vietnamese in Korea (~8%) International students, Vietnamese brides, workers, small business owners The true taste of their home region · a place to speak honestly · extra income Regional dishes · monthly gatherings · a community-partner opportunity explained plainly Lane 2

On "young people around Inha". Steps 1–2 open the market through young people — that is Group 2 and the children of Group 1. They are the entry door to shop 1, not the anchor. Every post written for them must still read well to their parents: no "healthy" as a fad, no "vegan", no suggestion that anyone needs to change their body.

On Group 3 on Lane 1. Vietnamese people appear as teammates and as the origin of ingredients — not as a "customer segment".

3 · Two communication lanes and one Partner Path

Lane 1 · EverWell brand channel Lane 2 · Personal Vietnamese-language channel
Who we speak to Group 1 and Group 2. Steps 1–2: young people around Inha (entry door) · Steps 3–4: Korean families (anchor) Group 3 and the Vietnamese within Group 4
What for Selling and building the brand: from herbal milk tea — the smart choice to EverWell — where families connect Nurturing companions, the team, community partners and investor trust. Not for pulling customers to the shop
Message Nourishing Health, Inspiring Wellness (건강을 키우고 행복을 나누다) Telling what I have lived through; advising no one on anything
Voice Brand Voice — no "I", no personal face, no spiritual-practice content, no religious names "An older sister who went before" — real name, real voice
Channels Instagram · Naver blog & Naver Place · short video · performance ads (Step 2) · KakaoTalk care channel (opens M4–M6: pre-orders, card points; subscriptions from M13) · cup-given-forward board in the shop Facebook under a real name · TikTok · YouTube · private Zoom
Language Korean first · English for international students · menu includes Vietnamese Vietnamese
Starts M0 alongside R&D · channels open at M2 M12 (Step 4)
Measured by Step 2: daily revenue, cost per new customer, repeat rate · Steps 3–4: customers who can retell the story, repeat rate, gift sets, cups given forward per month Private messages · people who join Zoom and come back · people who offer to work together. Not views

The Partner Path — for the Koreans in Group 4

Not a third lane. EverWell has no channel that speaks to people of faith in Korea; they arrive through the temples and churches in the Incheon area that do real work with the shop:

Milestone Work How to speak of it
M4–M10 Cups given forward have a destination: from M6, at month-end the remaining cups go to one partner with people in need in the area On EverWell channels, record only the number of cups sent · received. Do not name the recipient
M12–M18 First Green Volunteer Day with a partner (M14–M16) On EverWell channels: "Next Saturday the shop is going to pick up litter on the shore." The partner's name appears only in the partner's own publications

Approaching a partner begins with greeting and listening; propose specific work only when there is real work to do. Reaching out to temple and church partners touches our root values — Executive Council 3/3 after hearing the values & community advisor (Workstream 3 Plan §3). Who reaches out first, and when — see section 9.

Four things that never mix the two lanes

  1. Never repost content from one lane to the other as-is.
  2. Never measure the two lanes with the same ruler — Lane 1 is measured by returning customers, gift sets, cups given forward per month; Lane 2 by messages and people who seek us out.
  3. Never bring spiritual-practice content, religious names, temple names or church names onto Lane 1 — in any form, including hashtags and photos.
  4. On Lane 2, the shop appears as a real place — not as an invitation to buy.

4 · Lane 1 — From a real cup of tea to a place where families connect

Lane 1 carries two concepts in sequence. The first opens the market; the second widens the brand. Never run both at once.

4.1 · First concept — Herbal milk tea, the smart choice for young people

The communication team sits with the R&D team from M0 to build a concept that sets apart and elevates herbal milk tea against ordinary milk tea — still the milk tea you love, but half-sweet, with real herbs, and each cup gives a little back to nature.

Ordinary milk tea EverWell herbal milk tea
Sweetness Sugar and syrup Half-sweet; sweetness from herbs and natural ingredients
Tea base Industrial tea, synthetic toppings Taiwanese herbs + Chinese milk-tea craft + natural ingredients from Vietnam – Thailand – Southeast Asia
After drinking Tasty while drinking, tired afterwards Tasty while drinking, light afterwards
With nature Plastic, flavourings, a hidden supply chain Ingredients with a name, a growing region, growers paid fairly; bring your own cup for 500₩ off; points become trees

In one line: Still the milk tea you love — half-sweet, with real herbs. Audience: students and workers around Inha University (Group 2 and the children of Group 1).

How we tell it: - Taste and feeling come before benefits — open with "tasty", "warm", "light"; never open with "good for". - Dish names follow feeling, not the names of medicinal herbs; no emotions described in a name. - Compare head-on but speak ill of no one — compare with "ordinary milk tea", not with a specific brand. - Ingredients with a name, a region, a grower — this is evidence, not decoration. "Đồng Tháp lotus, picked in June" is stronger than "premium ingredients". - No "healthy milk tea", no "sugar-free".

4.2 · Second concept — EverWell, where families connect

Once the identity EverWell – Herbal milk tea is established and shop 1's revenue is stable (M10), communication turns toward a brand of drinks and wholesome meals for the whole family:

The promise: grandparents and grandchildren at one table — giving forward one good thing together.

The image of the modern Eastern family the brand stands with: - Grandparents and parents still respected by their children and grandchildren. - Elders pass down small lessons for the young to carry on; the shop simply makes room for the story to be told. - The way of living under one roof — sharing, closeness — is kept. - Love shown gently: two cups side by side, a blank card written by a child.

This concept is also the story that prepares for the full-set shop (Phase 2): three product groups, weekly/monthly subscription sets, a family space, a monthly Quiet Hour, an experience showroom.

4.3 · Five Lane 1 content lines by step

Every post belongs to one of the five Brand Voice lines. If it belongs to none, it is not ready to post.

Line Step Tells about Format
1 · A real cup of tea 1–2 Half-sweet, herbs with a name; ordinary vs. herbal; how you feel afterwards Short video · infographic · Instagram
2 · Honest ingredients 1–4 Fields, growers, seasons, the journey of one ingredient; QR code to the growing region Naver posts · in-shop labels · short video
Sales content (within lines 1 and 4) 2 Opening, free gestures, 500₩ off for your own cup, lunch combo (M6), weekly pack, customer reviews Ads · Naver Place · Instagram
4 · Seasonal wholesome meals 2–4 Which vegetables are in this season's bowl; "contains egg · dairy · garlic" stated plainly; three-region dishes as a touch of culture; pre-ordered lunch combo Instagram · Naver Place · menu
5 · Giving and regeneration 2–4 The two-number cup-given-forward board; cups saved; points become trees; green days. Told in real numbers, round numbers, with dates In-shop board · Instagram · quarterly report
3 · One table, two generations 3–4 One cup for grandma, one for the grandchild; stories retold; gift sets with a blank card Photos · short video · KakaoTalk
The full-set shop taking shape (within line 3) 3–4 The journey of building shop 2: the full product set, subscription sets, a family space, Quiet Hour Naver blog · Instagram

4.4 · Lessons from East Asian wellness milk tea

Brands that went before — AMACHA (Singapore), 荷田水铺, 椿风 (China), the packaged 漢方 tea lines of Taiwan — leave five lessons EverWell applies:

  1. Taste and feeling come before benefits — never open with "cures".
  2. Dish names follow feeling, not the names of medicinal herbs.
  3. Less sugar, no "therapy" — speak of nourishing the body (养身), never promise to heal (养生).
  4. One founding story + one cultural motif — keep one, do not cram in many.
  5. Track the repeat rate, not viral posts — "check-in" shops close fast; shops with returning customers live.

4.5 · The promise ladder (both lanes)

Allowed to promise: half-sweet · herbs with a name and a region · made fresh daily · ingredients listed in full on the menu · egg/dairy/garlic clearly marked · a quiet seat · cups given forward truly given, with a board · points become trees, with a quarterly report · prices unchanged by season.

Never promise: curing illness · lowering blood sugar · darkening hair · weight loss · detox · rejuvenation · peace of mind · healing · "vegan" when there is egg/dairy · "inner peace".

Every line that touches health must be approved by the Oriental-medicine advisor — both a shop standard and Korean law. Never mention the name of a religion, even when the customer brings it up first.

5 · Lane 2 — Personal Vietnamese-language channel

Lane 2 is the founder's own channel, in Vietnamese, opening from M12 — when shop 1 has an established identity and stable revenue. Its purpose is to nurture companions, the team, community partners and investor trust within the Vietnamese community in Korea; the community of Vietnamese brides is also a bridge to their Korean families — the very Group 1 that Lane 1 addresses.

5.1 · The "older sister who went before" voice

5.2 · Five content lines

Line What they carry Format
International students Studying and working at once, unsure where to go after graduation Short video · articles
Vietnamese brides Living between two family cultures, few places to speak from the heart Short video · articles · open Zoom
Workers far from home Have an income but few places to lean on Short video · articles
Personal growth & doing business in Korea Want to go further than their current job; a community-partner opportunity explained plainly: what the work is, what you get, no promises beyond that Long video · open Zoom
Dedicated practitioners Want companions amid a busy life Private Zoom and in-person meetings only — never short video, never public posts

5.3 · The short-video formula: Ache → Turn → Kind word

  1. Ache — name one real difficulty precisely. The viewer must feel "this is exactly what I'm going through".
  2. Turn — open a different angle, not advice; tell how I once thought about it.
  3. Kind word — leave behind one kind thought. No call to action, no leading to the shop, no countdown.

Touch hard questions, do not create controversy. Thorny topics are framed as open questions; discussion stays in the comments, and the writer only keeps the atmosphere gentle.

5.4 · The Four Lights on Lane 2

The same four values — wisdom · compassion · connection · regeneration — but told earlier and deeper, because the viewers are Vietnamese, understand the culture, and many are searching for exactly this. Two limits still hold:

5.5 · The boundaries of Lane 2

6 · Eight-question checklist before posting (both lanes)

If one question is still unanswered, do not post yet.

  1. Is this line true? If questioned, is there evidence?
  2. Does it promise anything outside the promise ladder? Does the word "vegan" appear on a dish with egg/dairy?
  3. Are there any commands, exclamation marks, or urging? (Step 2 may invite people to buy clearly — but still no pushing, no countdowns.)
  4. Does any word sit in the "avoid" column of the Brand Voice word dictionary?
  5. Is there any religious name, temple name, church name, religious symbol — including in hashtags and photos?
  6. If Group 4 read this, would they see good being put up for sale?
  7. If Group 1 read this (Lane 1) or someone far from home read this (Lane 2), would they feel they are being recruited into a group — or led to the shop?
  8. Read it aloud — does it sound calm and warm?

7 · Communication rhythm across the four steps of Phase 1 · M0 – M18

Communication follows the shop's pace of growth (reference milestones: Phase 1 Business Plan §1–§3). Each step has its own focus, its own metrics and its condition for moving to the next; if the condition is not met, do not move on.

Step 1 · Spreading wholesome living — M0–M3

Focus: the herbal milk tea concept — the smart choice for young people

Main Lane 1 work Lane 2 · Partners
Sit with K2 from day one: name dishes by feeling, write the ingredient stories · Build the "ordinary vs. herbal" concept · Build the identity on the drinks set; redraw the 에버웰 logo and file the trademark with 특허청 (Korean Intellectual Property Office) in M1 · Write the foundational "honest ingredients" series · Taste tests with Inha students, record feedback · Open Instagram and Naver channels at M2 with the foundational post bank ready · Prepare the opening (M2–M3): cup-given-forward board, reusable cup design, print 200 paper Four Lights cards, EN/KO/VI menu, "first cup free for the friend you bring" Not yet open

Measured by: number of approved concepts · taste-test feedback · ≥1,000 Lane 1 followers before opening day. Move to Step 2 when: drinks set locked, concept locked, channels running for at least one month, shop opens at the end of M3.

Step 2 · Opening the shop, selling and starting the community — M4–M10

Focus: bring young people around Inha into the shop and bring them back; launch wholesome meals and the cup given forward

Main Lane 1 work Lane 2 · Partners

Measured by: daily revenue · cost per new customer · repeat rate (≥30% at M10) · number of lunch combos and weekly packs · cups given forward per month (≥30) · progress toward recovering shop 1's investment. Move to Step 3 when: the identity EverWell – Herbal milk tea is established, revenue is stable (≥80 cups/day at M10), shop 1 has a clear path to recovering its investment.

Step 3 · Turning toward families, preparing the full-set shop — M10–M12

Focus: EverWell — where families connect

Main Lane 1 work Lane 2 · Partners
The "one table, two generations" and "stories retold" lines · Introduce wellness tea for mom and dad — no benefits · Two-cup set, the story of the "One Roof" set and the upcoming packaged products · The journey of building the full-set shop: the full product set, family space, Quiet Hour, showroom · Open the full-set shop waiting list · First quarterly Regeneration report (M12) · Brand dossier for Phase 2 investors Lane 2 preparation: lock the channel name, the person filming/editing, the foundational post bank · Partners: listen, find real work for the green day

Measured by: family customers (≥20% two-generation groups at one table) · customers who can retell the story · gift sets per month · number of people on the waiting list. Move to Step 4 when: shop 1 is steadily profitable; the full-set shop plan and Phase 2 funding have taken shape.

Step 4 · Subscriptions, gifts, green day, opening Lane 2 — M12–M18

Focus: keep shop 1's rhythm · build anticipation for the full-set shop · begin the Vietnamese community

Measured by: shop 1 steadily profitable · repeat rate (≥35% at M18) · number of weekly/monthly subscriptions (≥40) · gift sets · cups given forward per month (≥300 cumulative) · green day attendees · full-set shop waiting list · Lane 2: private messages, people who join Zoom and come back, people who offer to work together (≥50 people who actually show up).

Recurring rhythm

8 · Who does what

Role Work in communication
Brand Representative / CMO (K1) Leads both lanes and the giving programme; locks concepts; approves content against the eight-question checklist; carries Lane 2 in her own voice from M12; proposes matters touching root values to the Council
CPO and R&D team (K2) Provide the truth of the product: recipes, ingredients, growing regions, egg/dairy/garlic marks; co-name the dishes
Oriental-medicine advisor Approves every line that touches health, both lanes — allowing only what is true of everyday drinks and meals
Values & community advisor Keeps the religious boundary on public posts of both lanes; keeps private Zoom, the cup given forward and Quiet Hour true to their spirit; accompanies K1 when approaching temples and churches
CEO (K3) Step 2 ad budget (within Workstream 1's 19.0 M₩); trademark procedures; KakaoTalk infrastructure; accounting for cups given forward (funds held in trust) and points that become trees
Shop manager Keeps the story told in the shop; uses the "When customers ask hard questions" section of Brand Voice; updates the cup-given-forward board; passes feedback to K1
Video editor (paid per piece, from M7) Edits short videos for both lanes in each lane's own voice
Temple and church partners Receive cups given forward at month-end; co-host green days; speak about themselves on their own channels
